Therefore, the partnership between NVIDIA and Microsoft will offer researchers and businesses cutting-edge AI infrastructure and software. They have announced a multi-year partnership to create one of the most powerful AI supercomputers in the world, including Microsoft Azure infrastructure, NVIDIA GPUs, networking, and a comprehensive stack of AI software.
AI supercomputers are built by combining multiple GPUs into compute nodes, which are then connected by a high-performance network fabric to allow fast communication between those GPUs. One the most important applications of the Supercomputers has been in recording images of black holes.
