Iconic men’s lifestyle magazine Playboy and The decentralized virtual world The Sandbox were gathered together to celebrate the 69th anniversary of Playboy in the metaverse. The event took place from 12 until 19 December in the Sandbox’s virtual Mansion which is located in the “California Dreamin” district. Participants were able to dance, celebrate, and play quests. The visitors who completed one of the quests had a chance to win a prize pool of 100,000 $SAND. A collection of six in-game NFTs is also issued which users can purchase them.
