Last week, The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, launched a 100-day plan to empower the use of digital technologies and the metaverse as well as educate the citizens on the metaverse by building a virtual metaverse community consisting of investors, tech startups, and users. As this populous city of the UAE is attracting a large number of crypto investors and entrepreneurs, Sheikh Hamdan has long-term goals like adding $4 billion to Dubai’s economy and creating 40,000 virtual job places within the next five years.
