To celebrate 135th photography anniversary of National Geographic, the magazine has partnered with NFT platform snowcrash to release an NFT collection called “GM: Daybreak Around the World”. The collection includes 1888 NFT photographs of 16 sunrises that took place in different parts of the world. It is set to release on January 17 paying without any need for a cryptocurrency wallet. This isn’t the first nature-themed photography collection on the blockchain, two other collections named “Caldor Fire, Burning Cabin” and “From the Flames” were released this year by Lynsey Addario.
